I’m thrilled that this azanimg movie (and it’s follow-up, The Holy Mountain) is finally getting a lavish DVD release. It’s been out of circulation for too long. The only time I had an opportunity to see El Topo was in the mid-80s, and it was a wrecked, scratchy print. The cream always rises to the top.
Could someone tell me what song was playing during the first kitchen scene where Liam was preparing dinner and his ex-wife drops by? It was playing in the background.
Ok Jes.. you heard my embarrassing story about my aednvture buying this damn cd on Friday LOL!! I ended up purchasing it on itunes…I loved the soundtrack the first time I heard it.. then the next few times I listened to it (in my car mind you) I found myself skipping over songs. I think the order the songs are in was a dumb idea. Too many slow, mellow songs are back to back. If you’re in that sorta mood while listening, then I guess its alright? Death Cab’s is by far the best song on there (in my opinion) and I like the Thom Yorke one too, however I think you need to be a fan of his to appreciate it. I’m also really digging the Lykke Li song called Possibility (curious to see when they’ll play it in the movie — perhaps when Edward leaves??).Unless you REALLY need the cd now, buy it.. otherwise I suggest waiting til I come up there next month and I’ll let you burn a copy of mine.
This is not the complete song list! The list start with song on 00:45

I was under the impression that it’s
Infinity – The XX. It’s the one when Bryan prepares dinner for Lenore.
Infinity by The xx
